The last exam is always the hardest to prepare for. The exam cycle for me is broken into two parts. The last exam and all the rest. Time stands still for the most part from the last day of class until the last exam. I feel like I need to really prepare for each exam because if I don't the exam won't come, and if the exam doesn't come then my summer break will never come. I spend each day reviewing, studying, and learning (because I wasn't paying attention during the semester) for each exam that comes next. All of a sudden I've taken three exams and made it over the hump. I start to realize that many days have passed since that last class and that the end must be drawing near. The only thing between me and my summer is the last exam. But I can practically taste the summer now. I know that even if I do nothing, the summer will come. It's hard to prepare for this exam. It's property so that doesn't help at all...full of antiquated rules and silly customs. Wild animals, gifts, adverse possession, the rule against perpetuities, and their ilk make for some drab almost-summer days. I'm going to go study some more now...it makes the time pass more quickly. My last exam is on Friday and I can hardly wait.
