I get my first graded writing assignment in 2 days, a closed research memo. It will be due 5 days later. 5 days to devote myself to legal literacy and clarity. 5 days to put all other tasks on the back burner so that my legal writing grade may be spared a first year blemish. It's a shame that all other things in my life don't afford me these 5 days of respite....that nagging torts class, for instance. Oh well, I'll not be discouraged. This is where the magic happens... or something like that. I'm really in need of a pep talk - even if it is self-delivered.

You need a pep talk missy? Well here it is! You are now and have always been able to cope with anything life throws at you. You eat problems for breakfast and throw back the bare bones with a laugh. You are of fine peasant stock that never understood the concept of giving up or giving in. Suck it up and get to writing!
Now back to reality... I love you and am so proud of everything you've done. I know it's tough and a little overwhelming and I also know you can do anything you put your mind to.
Now - suck it up and get to writing!
