I'm not reading that. I read that a month ago. Do you want to know what I'm reading? No you don't. I'll tell you anyway. I'm reading casebooks. It's pretty sassy stuff. They're all negligence this and strict liability that. Who's your daddy? Consideration, that's who. Promissory estoppel is the bomb. For a good time, call on personal jurisdiction. A casebook is way better than any great novel.
I finished the Memo. It turned out OK. That's not a ringing endorsement for it, I realize. I know it will come back stained with the disappointment of Professor Contracts. I've accepted that. I embrace it. He will etch my faults with acid...(it's a long story)...and I will be better for it.
I was working on it last night...burned out...decided to take a break. I used that valuable time to check in with my old friend, the telly. The Emmy pre-show was on. What a piece of crap that was. I stuck it out until the big show started but found no relief from the crap-a-thon. I expect more of my breaks than that. I have needs that must be met. Emmy - you suck.
