Here it is...in my hand. The Memo (assignment). It doesn't seem very bad. Just a few pages really. I'll have it knocked out before bed....after Torts reading....and Civ Pro reading....and Contracts reading....and Legal Writing reading.....all of which I have tomorrow. Don't forget that re-write for research and the partner assignment for Legal Writing. There's plenty of time in the day for all that.
I managed to join a group - woohoo for me. Look out American Constitution Society. I'm utterly disappointed, however, that the Federalist's have pizza at their meetings and we had 3 bags of community shared microwave popcorn.
On a completely un-related note (and because the incessant whining needs to be curtailed) - VA must have a pretty sweet deal running on personalized license plates. I see them everywhere. I'd guess the number of vehicles on the road with personalized plates is upwards of 60%. It's epidemic. Some are just terrible really. Oh sure, there's the last names and first names and job titles. But then there is another category unto itself full of total crap.
In the 'small world' department - I spoke today with the librarian at my children's elementary school and learned that her husband is a librarian at the law library at my school. Library Science - it's a family thing.
It's plainly obvious that I am sliding deeper and deeper into the boring abyss.
Naw, you don't bore your blog readers. I assume most of your readers, like me, are law students. Whining and assignments are what we do! Trying to out-whine each other is our sole form of recreation.
But, I know I'm becoming very dull and obnoxious to outsiders. All I can talk about is law school. I'd hate to be in a conversation with me.
