I write today from my lovely carrel. It's small and brown, it's quiet and full of utility - it's my home away from home. No - it is my home.
My laptop is finally on the mend. It seems that it was somewhat of a giant trainwreck before. If you are thinking of starting law school soon - let me give you some advice. Come to school early - before orientation and get your shit up and running. Don't wait until the first week of classes, like some retard (namely me) that I know. This puts you in the agrivating position of being computer-less should you have troubles. In my case, I needed the computer (legitimately) fairly early-on, for wiritng assignments - so being without left me at school using the lab to complete assignments. It meant longer hours at school and less freedom of location.
It also meant that I had no computer at home, since the desktop is still in CA. Boo.
I'm wireless and free now. It's a beautiful thing...until I go home...to dial-up...and want to shoot myself.
