I'm here. I fixed my computer - the law school network's software did me in for a few days. I have removed it so I can use my laptop - but I'm still not plugged in to the network. I'll get that straightened out tomorrow...maybe.
Class, so far, has been nothing to fear. One prof calls on people randomly and keeps them on the hook for the entire class. Others ask for volunteers. Some classes just feel like an everyone-participates relaxed discussion. One prof has you sign in at the beginning of each class for attendance and preparedness. You can sign-in unprepared and won't be called on. If you do this less than 7 times and are absent 3 or less days, you get a bump up in your grade at the end of the semester. More than 7/3 and you get a bump down. It's nice to know I can have a bad day and not be on the spot - but I don't plan to be doing much of any signing in unprepared.
I've had all but one class at least once. I have CrimLaw on Monday for the first time. My previously great schedule has taken a bit of a hit, but is still fairly good. Now:

So Tuesday's now suck - but what can you do? Friday's are great and really let me get things in order so that I can enjoy the weekend. Actually, I have been on top of everything so far - on Friday I was gathering up anything that needed to go home with me and found very little. Then I had a moment of panic when I thought, surely - there must be something I've missed. I hope not - and I've been enjoying my weekend under the impression that I have the work for Monday and Tuesday well in hand. Mostly.
I should be reading for CrimLaw now. I really should. OK, I'm going to go do that. Right now. Really.
